Japanese Floral Reef

This aquarium uses hardscape, flora and fauna native to Japan. Dragon rock forms a sedimentary base that mirrors natural mountain ridges.

Mountains in the Distance

This aquarium was scaped for a customer who wanted a nano Iwagumi layout. It is used to show a mountain range. Elephant skin stone was used as it is highly detailed to show crevices in mountains and looks better with age as algae grows over some spaces.

Revived in a Terrarium

This terrarium was scaped for a client and planted with rare and exotic tissue culture plants. A single piece of Mopani wood was dressed up with epiphytes, liverwort and moss to give it age and interest. It shows that just one piece of hardscape can be used to make a complex looking environment.
